Casa Santonja is a historic estate located on the Spanish Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante. A few kilometers from the town of Denia and easily accessible, this place is simply perfect for celebrating outdoor weddings with a good number of guests.
Today I want to share the photos of the wedding at Casa Santonja taken during the wedding of a couple from the Netherlands. V. and J. chose to get married in Spain to share with their guests the flavor of this land, the light of the Costa Blanca and the typical Spanish party feeling. The couple know this area well, having spent their summers here for years, and decided that it would be the perfect place for their wedding.
At this wedding, my colleague and friend Ralf Czogallic invited me as the second photographer. It is always a pleasure to work together with great professionals in this profession. Ralf has been in charge of covering the bride’s preparations while I have focused on capturing photos of the groom and his friends before the ceremony.
The ceremony was held outdoors, in the beautiful garden of the estate. All the guests attended the celebration with excitement and curiosity. Relatives of the bride and groom took the opportunity to remember the most beautiful moments in the couple’s life.
After the wedding at Casa Santonja, the guests enjoyed a cocktail in the open air in the same garden. The atmosphere was perfect to enjoy these moments with the wedding couple. Then family and friends of the couple sat at the tables prepared in the garden for the banquet.
