When Jesica contacted me enquiring about the possibility to take some “Love Story” photos in Peñiscola it seemed like a great idea and I enthusiastically accepted. Peñíscola is a beautiful town that I visited a few years ago, I was amazed by the beauty of its old castle and its sea views. A town about an hour from Valencia and close to Castellon which has an important history, especially in the Middle Ages.
I met Jessica and David one afternoon in the center of the old town of Peñiscola. We talket a little and they told me they have planned their wedding in a year and Jessica wanted to surprise her fiancée with a “Love Story” photo session.
Jessica and David are a happy couple, it was easy to take photos with them. They know each other for more than three years, share a passion for dancing, especially salsa and bachata. As a wedding photographer is always a pleasure to work with partners who appreciate music and dance, this makes it easier to perform “dynamic” pictures without falling into the classic perched.
We started the photo shooting in the old town, under the castle of Papa Luna. We continue walking the small streets around the castle to reach a medieval market. We continue taking pictures near the sea and in the end we approached the beach. A last hour there is hardly anyone on the beach and this allowed us to make some very candid shots using the sea and the last rays of sun of the day to capture special images.
Thanks Jessica and David, for letting me capture your light.
It has been a pleasure to meet you and spend an evening with you.
This is a small selection of this “Love Story” photo session
I hope you enjoy them as much as me.
