Ana and Victor are getting married soon.
Victor is an athlete, he loves the mountains and usually goes jogging in the surroundings of Segorbe, a small city in the soulth of Spain, not far from Valencia. Ana is his other great passion. The two met many years ago, when they were children. Soon they found out they wear made one for the other. Ana is a woman with a natural beauty, a fresh look and a radiant smile. She is curious and enthusiastic, with Victor they make a really great couple.
As a Wedding photographer I like to take pictures with a natural feeling, for this reason the engagement session is a great opportunity to brake the ice. We strolled through the old town and before starting the phot-session we talked a while about the details and schedule of the wedding day. The purpose of the engagement session is to create confidence. During the wedding day everything easier, the relationship is natural and spontaneous photos.
Portraying a couple is a major challenge for me. As a photographer I don’t just want to do some nice photos. I try to take pictures that tell the story of a couple, try to communicate the feelings that exist between the two.
Taking photos with Victor and Ana was easy, they are open minded, optimistic and fun people. I tried to capture their true expressions, little details that reveal their love for each other. Tenderness, complicity and affection are the main characters of this love story.
We took the first photos in the area of the ancient castle of Segorbe from where the city and the beautiful surrounding countryside looms. Then we moved to the river Palencia where Ana and Victor played with the water, just as they used to do as children. The evening light and the expression of Victor and Ana did the rest.
