As a Wedding Photographer, for me is always a pleasure to travel to Rome. Rome is beautiful. One of the most romantic places in the world. A perfect city for taking special photos with a couple just married. Sonia and Jose are a couple who wanted to have an unforgettable reportage and so we decided to travel to Rome for a “trash The Dress” photo shooting.
Wedding photography can be very different from what we are used to see. Sonia and Jose got married in Spain, they make a great couple sharing everything. A couple who really loves photography and from the firs time we met it was clear they wanted to have some photos in Rome after their wedding.
We organized the trip just after their honeymoon, Sonia and Jose reserved a day for their special destination photo shooting. Rome has good connections by air plane with the greatest cities in Europe. I decided to arrive a few days before them in order to do the planning and organize everything. Planning is crucial: Rome is a big and contains 2700 years of history. It would be impossible to see all the monuments in one week and we had only one day!
We started the reportage in Piazza di Spagna, continued through The Phantheon, Castel Sant’ Angelo, Piazza San Pietro. As a Wedding Photographer I really enjoy taking photos in those great locations. The main problem in Rome is to get only the bride and groom in the picture, since there are always many tourists walking around. We managed to walk through all the planned rute, passing by Sant’Ivo, Piazza Navona and finally the greatest symbol of Rome: Il Colosseo.
Sonia and Jose where really happy and excited. It was their first time in Rome and they managed to visit the hart of the city as well as having an unforgettable reportage of this adventure. I really want to thank them for being so awesom.
