Miriam is special: with very clear ideas she has come from Switzerland to organize her wedding in Spain. I was lucky enough to meet her a year ago when she came to Valencia to look for a photographer and organize everything. Miriam told me her dream: celebrating her wedding here in Spain. Years ago she lived here for a while as a student and fell in love with the spanish way of life and specially with the city of Valencia. Her great love for Spain was passed on to her boyfriend, Thomas. Both of them decided to celebrate their wedding in Valencia.
Love solves everything, there are no differences of cultures or language barriers. The wedding was held a few weeks ago at the Alquería Lolin, a cozy space, ideal for celebrations with a spacious garden near Valencia. With patience and dedication they have planned everything perfectly. Decoration, music and all the details to make this day unique.
A few months ago they came to the city to finalize details and we took the opportunity to get to know each other better and carry out the engagement session. We chose the magnificent Museum of Arts and Sciences as a stage. We enjoyed an afternoon taking some photos and talking about their wedding in Valencia.
Organizing the Wedding in Valencia:
Thomas and Miriam adore the Spanish culture. So much so that they have chosen the colours red and yellow as theme and decoration of the wedding. To share this great day, all their friends and family have come from Switzerland. The friends of Miriam have taken care of every detail of the preparations, they helped her with delicacy with the make-up and the dress.
On the wedding day, both Thomas and Miriam were seen at all times relaxed and happy. For me as a photographer is the ideal situation. When everybody is relaxed I can concentrate in taking pictures of the best moments. The ceremony was prepared in the gardens, Miriam who was radiant, entered accompanied by her father. After the ceremony we took some portraits in the gardens.
The reception was very intimate and comfortable. There was a group of musicians playing flamenco, there was the sun and the good weather of Valencia. The guests enjoyed a perfect Spanish atmosphere, including a delicious Paella!
This is a small selection of the best moments. Thanks Miriam and Thomas for choosing me as your wedding photographer, as a witness to this adventure.
I hope you will enjoy these photos for many, many years.
It was an honour to meet you!
