Yucca and Chris are a lovely couple who live in Hong Kong and will getting married soon. They contacted me this summer telling me they would like to do an engagement session photo shooting in Spain. It sound great to me.
We talked on Skype and we wrote many emails to organize all the details of the photo shooting. Thanks to the new technologies it is possible to do things this way, even with a great distance between us. We planned two different engagement session photo shootings in Madrid and Granada. Yucca was very kind to send me photos of her favorite outfits to ask my opinion on which was the best in the different locations. Thanks!
I met for the first time Yucca and Chris the apartment they rented in Madrid, the night before the photo shooting. As I imagined they are two very special persons. Despite cultural differences, we managed to understand each other immediately. She’s a lovely girl with sweet eyes and expressive smile. Chris is a great guy, always ready for a joke and always smiling to life. The two together make a great couple. 🙂
The day after the shooting I went scouting different locations in Madrid together with my friend Fran. He is also a wedding photographer and helped me during the photo shooting. Thanks Fran, you are the best! We decided that the best place to start with the photos was El Parque Del Retiro. A wonderful park in the center of Madrid, ideal for an engagement session.
We started taking photos early in the morning, as planned, in Parque del Retiro. The day was sunny and in the park there was a wonderful light. We walked around until we reached the Crystal Palace, here we where lucky enough to be able to go inside the building and take some other portraits. We then visited a nearby Museum, with a modern art exhibition of big paintings. Finally we moved to reach the Caixa Forum, another interesting building in Madrid.
