As a destination Wedding Photographer<\/strong>, Italy is one of my favourite places to travel. Not only because it’s the land where I was born but because in Italy there are some of the most incredible cityes in the world. Among Italian cites Venice<\/strong> is probably the most romantic of all.<\/p>\n

Nuria and Diego are two dreamers<\/strong>: Nuria is an exceptional woman, always has a smile on his face, is happy and has reason to be. <\/span>Diego loves his wife and shows it all the time. <\/span>Their eyes says it all. <\/span>They are two people who have found their soul mate and complement each other.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I first met when they came to my studio to discuss about their wedding photos. <\/span>When I heard they were going to make their wedding trip in Italy<\/strong> I proposed to make a photo shoot in Venice after the wedding. <\/span>They loved the idea and so we organized the whole thing. <\/span>For me, as a wedding photographer is always a pleasure to shoot photos and tell different stories in my homeland. <\/span>I retain some magical memories of this beautiful city from my childhood when I used to stay there with my father who was working in Venice.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nuria and Diego were married a few weeks ago. <\/span>They celebrated their wedding by inviting their friends and families at a banquet that turned into a big party. <\/span>After the wedding they went on honeymoon to Italy, visiting Rome, Florence, Siena and other cities. <\/span>We agreed to meet in Venice for this session of “Trash The Dress”<\/strong> wedding photos. <\/span>A Trash The Dress is the perfect time to wear the wedding dress one more day and show it in a really special place.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s easier than it seems, if you want you can do it!<\/strong> <\/span>They took the wedding dress with them throughout the trip and reusing it was a little bit like reliving the emotions of the wedding day. <\/span>But this time in a city that looks like an open air museum for the many monuments, squares and streets that enchant millions of visitors from around the world. <\/span>A good way to use the dress of the bride and give use beyond the wedding day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Venice is perhaps the most romantic city in the world<\/strong>. <\/span>Originally the city was born on over 100 islands where the inhabitants of the region escaped from the arrival of the barbarians. <\/span>The golden age of Venice is in 1700 when it was the largest naval power in the Mediterranean. <\/span>Its inhabitants were skillful traders and seized the silk route, discovered by a Venetian explorer Marco Polo. <\/span>Trading with the East gave to the city of Venice great wealth and richness.\u00a0 The noble and rich people in Venice invested building lavish palaces and wonderful churches.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Planning the photos in Venice:<\/h2>\n

I arrived in Venice one day before the couple to organize the photo shooting timeline. <\/span>I studied the best route to take advantage of natural light and visit the most interesting sites. <\/span>In a destination wedding photo session like this we must seize the time to the maximum and good planning is essential. <\/span>Nuria Diego and stayed at a hotel in central Venice, close to San Marco Square. I found a place nearby to stay, so I could be able to meet them quickly.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A Wedding Photographer in Venice<\/strong> must find out the way to get the best pictures trying to avoid as many tourists as possible from the frame. Shooting early in the morning or late in the night can be the key to get a great photograph of Piazza San Marco without too many people.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuria and Diego rode some of the most beautiful corners of the city, starting with Piazza San Marco<\/strong>, passing churches the architect Palladio San Giorgio and the Redentore, located on the island of Giudecca. In <\/span>Venice, people use to move on a boat called “vaporetto” that make a service like a normal city bus. <\/span>With these boats we could move quickly between the different locations. <\/span>In the course could not miss a ride on a gondola<\/strong> beneath the Rialto Bridge<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was an amazing experience: stroll through the narrow streets of Venice is the closest thing to a dream. <\/span>After a few days touring the city, up and down sailing through the channels, visitors may feel a sense almost of dizziness. <\/span>The sunlight that illuminates Venice is really spectacular, is reflected in the channels and create games of different shades at all times of the day.\u00a0 A perfect location for wedding photography<\/strong>, indeed!<\/span><\/p>\n

Venice is also known for its carnival, one of the most famous in the world. <\/span>This aspect makes it a perfect destination for a photo shooting after the wedding. <\/span>The tourist and the Venetians are used to see people dressed in an original way and do not worry too much about seeing Nuria with her wedding dress.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a\u00a0wedding photographer in Venice makes me feel in dream. Walking in the streets of this city looking for the best light is an amazing experience. <\/span>It is important to reach trust and complicity between the photographer and the\u00a0 couple. I believe this is the only way photos can be natural and transmit the true essence of people’s emotions. T<\/span>aking these photos with a couple as Nuria and Diego was a real pleasure, I discovered two great people who also were available at all times.<\/span><\/p>\n
