This option has plenty of different avenues you can choose to take to make your proposal tailored to your beloved. First, choose your setting. If you want to have a completely private moment, why not set up a candlelit dinner at your home? If you want to make a surprise experience out of it, leave a note for your partner with a cocktail, asking them to pick out a fancy outfit, and then join you for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could put candles (or battery tealights, if you\u2019re worried about fire) to lead the way to the dinner table, and serve them all their favourite food. If you\u2019re not much of a chef and you have the budget, why not hire a private chef for the evening, or get a fancy meal kit?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they like to eat out, look to hire a private room at a gorgeous restaurant. This way, they get both the benefit of restaurant level food, and your own space. Make sure to let the venue know so that they can give you some privacy and perhaps even a celebratory bottle of fizz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is surely no more perfect representation of life being a journey than a road trip.
