Stephanie and Jordan are a couple from the United States. He’s from Ohio and she comes from North Dakota. They met a few years ago and now make a loving and happy couple. They have wedding plans although the date is not yet defined. Waiting for the wedding, Stephanie and Jordan decided to celebrate their love with a “Lovestory” photoshooting in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain: Seville.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Stephanie contacted me from the United States to organize the photo shoot, she was looking for images with a clear Spanish flavour<\/strong>. As a destination wedding photographer I gave some suggestions, but was not sure if was better Madrid, Seville or Granada … We finally decided for Sevilla for practical reasons. So we organized the photo shooting in order to visit some of the most beautiful and iconic places of Seville during one day.<\/p>\n

We met in the “Espacio Metropol Parasol” aka “Mushrooms of Seville”<\/p>\n

Metropol Parasol<\/b> is a wooden structure located at La Encarnaci\u00f3n<\/i> square<\/a>, in the old quarter of Seville<\/a>, Spain<\/a>. It was designed by the German architect J\u00fcrgen Mayer<\/a> and completed in April 2011. It has dimensions of 150 by 70 metres (490 by 230\u00a0ft) and an approximate height of 26 metres (85\u00a0ft) and claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. Its appearance, location, delays and cost overruns in construction resulted in much public controversy. The building is popularly known as Las Setas de la Encarnaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/i> (Incarnaci\u00f3n’s mushrooms).(From Wikipedia)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Before starting with the photos, we sat in a bar and talked a little bit. My duty as a photographer is to make the couples feel comfortable<\/strong> in order to capture spontaneous and natural images. It is always a pleasure to meet people who come from distant places like Stephanie and Jordan. Despite cultural differences it is important to create a direct and honest relationship, so people just relax and show their true image.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The choice of the site was a success. Stephanie and Jordan were surprised by this impressive structure and so we began the photo shooting with lots of energy<\/strong>. We climbed on the roof of Metropol Parasol<\/em> space where we could admire unique views of Seville and make very special photos. Then we moved to other important locations in the city: The Cathedral of Seville, La Giralda and the Alc\u00e1zar <\/em>to finally end in the Plaza of Spain.<\/em><\/p>\n

It has been a great day, with the help of my assistant Florence and the willingness of the couple. I love the character of this couple, determined and full of enthusiasm!<\/p>\n

We had a good light during the day and I am very happy with a series of photos.<\/p>\n
